Saeco 00347 Features & Benefits

Control Panel Features:
Saeco prides itself on the simplicity and directness of its machines, and the Saeco Aroma is no different. The control panel consists of a Brew button, a Steam button and the Steam Knob. On the top of a machine is the main On/Off button. When it is pressed the boiler begins to heat. As the indicator lights on the buttons themselves light up you’ll recognize when to use the brew and steam cycles.

Espresso Brewing Features:
It can’t get much easier and direct than this cappuccino maker. Saeco’s clear control panel means that you’ll work your way down to make your espresso. Turn the machine on and push to brew when the boiler has reached the optimal water temperature. Then push to the steam button. When the indicator light turns off it is telling you the Steam Wand is ready - just turn the knob to release the steam. A simple and express path to your ideal cup.

Steam Wand / Frother Features:
With the Saeco Pannarello Steam Wand steaming and frothing drinks is made a lot simpler. The attachment is three inches in length and comes apart for thorough cleaning. The Pannarello has a limited number of holes on the wand to help form finer bubbles so you can craft a luxurious, thick and rich froth.

Boiler Features:
A 950 Watt boiler means that this compact home espresso machine quickly heats to the right level and is ready to get you your coffee. The boiler heats 5oz of water at a time so you may have to go through the process to make multiple cups for guests. Yet, with its powerful high wattage heating element the time between batches should be under two minutes. The 5oz boiler is made from durable stainless steel and like most machines should be decalcified every two to three months. This will add to the life of your machine.

Portafilter Features:
Able to accept ESE certified single shot pods with a special filter basket the Saeco Aroma offers a great filter system. Its 15 BAR pump pressure is what makes the pressurized portafilter so consistent in its extraction. A pressurized portafilter is often lightweight in comparison to commercial filters and is much easier to operate regardless of your skill. Just tamp down the coffee grounds, or insert the pod, slide and twist the filter into place and you’re ready to hit the brew button to produce your coffee.

Water System / Reservoir Features:
85oz (equal to 2.5 liters) is more than enough water to produce multiple cups of coffee. With its powerful 5oz Boiler the Seaco Aroma quickly heats the water to make plenty of cappuccino cups quickly for your guests. The removable tank glides in and out from the back side of the machine. A little hot water and soap is all you need to clean this component. Best of all, the tank is transparent so you can always see the amount of water that is left for you to work with.

More Time Saving Features

Water Quantity Features:
A large size Water Reservoir that holds 85oz means you can make multiple cups without refilling at the faucet. The mighty 950 Watt boiler is a bit on the smaller size at 5oz, but this has a fast recycling time and assures you that you can’t overwater your coffee.

No programmable timer is available on this model.

Active Cup Warmer Features:
Yes, once you turn the machine on there is an Active Cup Warmer feature. However, the Active Cup Warmer relies on the machine’s residual heat from the boiler’s heating element and this may not be enough to instantly get your cups warm. When making more than 1 cup at a time this feature is able to work better.

Hot Water Dispenser Features:
Yes, the Saeco Pannarello Wand is able to dispense hot water.

E.S.E Pods or Ground Coffee:
Yes, the Saeco Aroma is able to effortlessly switch between coffee grounds and single shot pods. Just use the special filter basket included for use with the portafilter.
